Apply for the EMPYME 2026 grant before 31 July

EMPYME is an annual grant from the Generalitat Valenciana for entrepreneurs and SMEs in the Valencia region whose activity started within the last five years. It funds operating costs linked to starting, developing and consolidating the business project, through a competitive procedure scored out of 100 points. The 2026 call is open from 1 to 31 July.

Yes. It was published in DOGV no. 10395 of 1 July 2026 (Resolution of 23 June 2026, BDNS 915695) and it is worth applying as soon as possible: the single window runs from 1 to 31 July, the supporting accounts are filed with the application and, in the event of a tie on points, the order of filing of the complete application counts.

From 1 to 31 July 2026, both inclusive. Only applications recorded in the Generalitat's electronic registry by 23:59:59 on the last day are accepted. There is no second window during the year.

70% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of €15,000 per beneficiary. The project must have a minimum eligible budget of €5,000 (excluding VAT); below that, the application is rejected. VAT is not eligible.

Rent of premises or offices, payroll costs of employees (up to €3,000 gross per month per worker) and professional services, paid by bank between 1 May 2025 and 31 May 2026. Investments, VAT, utilities and insurance are not eligible.

Out of 100 points: A) applicant and market (10), B) motivation, viability and project (60), C) competitiveness (20), D) environmental sustainability (5) and E) social issues (5). Within block B, having your own website scores 10 points and search-engine visibility another 10.

No. Under the regulatory bases, the strand for entrepreneurs and SMEs funds operating costs and cannot be used for investments or asset acquisitions.

Yes. EMPYME 2026 falls under the de minimis regime (EU Regulation 2023/2831 and art. 4 of Order 2/2024). The total de minimis aid received by a single undertaking cannot exceed €300,000 over three years.

Civil partnerships without legal personality, joint-ownership entities, associations and federations, public companies, EIGs, non-profit entities and primary agricultural, fishery or aquaculture production cannot be beneficiaries. In addition, EMPYME 2026 is incompatible with EMDANA 2026.

Registration in the IAE or deed of incorporation, the standard business project form (signed PDF, maximum 5 pages Arial 11), the supporting accounts (Excel and signed PDF), a single document with invoices or payslips and bank payment receipts, the social security record of the contribution account, the lease contract where applicable and form 200 for SMEs. The project and the supporting accounts cannot be corrected after filing.

Yes. The supporting accounts are filed together with the application, so the costs must have been incurred and paid between 1 May 2025 and 31 May 2026, with an invoice or payslip and a bank payment receipt. Cash or over-the-counter payments are not accepted.

Yes, provided they are operating costs linked to the project. In addition, holding a licence for an AI application (with an invoice within the eligible period) adds 5 points, and a project with an environmental sustainability certificate adds another 5.
